ABOUT US

A united force of breeding companies

The foundation for Breeding Accel is formed by a powerful collaboration between six renowned breeding companies. KP Holland, Interplant Roses, Schoneveld Breeding, Labeau (before: Sion Young Plants), Fresh Forward and Royal Van Zanten bundled their know-how and research capabilities to set a new standard in the world of breeding. Together, we set up an advanced molecular laboratory, where we focus on exchanging know-how and reducing the time-to-market and invest in the latest breeding technologies. Our non-competitive genetics allow optimum transparency and cooperation.

OBJECTIVES

Within our collaboration of six companies, we focus on various disciplines and have already achieved considerable results. Our mutual efforts mainly target the following core themes:

In our molecular laboratory we invest in the latest breeding technologies, allowing us to operate in an innovative way. Use of the latest technologies also allows us to achieve distinguishing features in our products.

Although the traditional breeding process takes years, it is our objective to shorten the breeding cycle considerably by using the latest technologies and sharing our mutual knowledge. This will result in a faster lead time and allow us to bring high quality breeding products on the market.

Continuous improvement of our starting material is a shared objective. By sharing knowledge with full transparency - thanks to our non-competitive genetics - we learn from each other's expertise and continue to develop ourselves in the field of product quality. This collaborative approach guarantees continuous progress and innovation in our products.
